referral for health services which cannot be provided by the SBHC


WHO HAS ACCESS TO THE SBHC

All students attending school in the La Grande and Union School Districts are eligible to receive care at their SBHC.


COSTS FOR SERVICES

Students are not responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses at the SBHC, except for sport physicals and immunizations (third party services such as laboratory tests will be billed directly by those agencies).

SBHCs are funded through the billing of third-party insurance, Medicaid, grant awards and public sources.


ARE APPOINTMENTS NEEDED

Appointments for medical services are recommended but walk-ins will be worked in whenever possible or have an appointment scheduled, counseling services generally require an appointment.


AVAILABILITY

Both SBHCs are open during the school year. Medical services are not available during school holidays, including winter break, spring break and summer vacation.
