The Center for Human Development, Inc. allows authorized users to connect to the CHD network remotely. Unauthorized access or attempted access to the CHD network is strictly prohibited and may be subject to criminal presecution. All access is monitored.
In order to connect remotely you must have a high-speed Internet connection such as DSL, Cable, Satalite or wireless. You must have administrative privildges on your computer so you can install the VPN client software. Below are instructions for installing the VPN client software, call 541-962-8872 with any questions.

Turn on your computer and login with an account that can install software

Make sure you have an active Internet connection (test by using your web browser to go to google.com)

Click here to download the install file to your computer (right-click, save target as)

When the "Save As" box appears choose to save the file to your desktop

Double-click vpnclient-win.zip (this is the file you downloaded in step 3) and a window opens

Double-click vpnclient-win-msi-5.0.02.0090-k9.exe

When the WinZip Self-Extractor windows appears choose "Unzip"

Select "OK" to 12 files(s) unzipped successfully (the install wizard now starts)

Follow the wizard by accepting all default selections (install will take a few minutes to complete)

If prompted to restart computer do so

When prompted for Installing the Shrew Soft Virtual Adapter click Continue Anyway

When prompted for installing Shrew Soft Miniport Filter click Continue Anyway

Click Finish
