CHD To Begin Conducting H1N1 Vaccine Clinics

10/24/2009, La Grande, OR
CHD Public Health Services will begin conducting clinics by appointment for H1N1 vaccination priority groups the week of October 26th.  The amount of vaccine currently available is very limited, but additional clinics will be scheduled as more vaccine becomes available.

Priority groups for the H1N1 vaccine are:

  • Everyone aged 6 months to 24 years
  • Pregnant women (those with an OB-GYN should contact their doctor for availability of the vaccine)
  • People caring for or living with infants under 6 months of age
  • People aged 25-64 with underlying medical conditions (such as asthma, immune deficiencies, etc.)
  • Health care workers, emergency medical responders and frontline law enforcement and public safety workers (contact employer first for availability)

If you are in one of these priority groups, please call 962-8856 between 10am-12pm or 3pm-5pm on Wednesday, October 28th to schedule an appointment.  Because supplies are limited, appointments for priority groups will be made on a first come, first served basis.
