Kathy Goodman has also worked as a Temperament Specialist
for The Center for Human Development, Inc. since 1988. She regularly leads classes for
parents, provides individualized temperament consultation, and serves as field-testing
supervisor and proofreader for newly developed materials. Kathy trains in use of the
curriculum with groups. Kathy and her husband are parents of five daughters. Her passion
is for helping families grow strong and healthy.
Barbara Tyler, BS, is the Prevention Coordinator at The Center for
Human Development, Inc. She is a national trainer and consultant for Developmental
Research and Programs, an organization focusing on the risk and protective factors for
youth. Barbara has over 25 years' experience in parent education and prevention. She is a
native of Northeastern Oregon and understands the special needs of rural families. Barbara
trains people wishing to adopt the curriculum in its use. She has successfully
implemented many collaborative community-based programs. She and her husband are the
parents of six grown children.
Barb Zukin, BS, has been a Temperament Specialist with the
Temperament Program since 1988. Originally a special education teacher and nurse, Barb has
worked individually and in groups with hundreds of parents of difficult children, helping
them find ways to effectively manage their children through application of temperament
concepts. She was an integral member of the team which created Temperament Talk.
Responsible for marketing, she also trains people to use the curriculum and teaches
classes at the Center for Parenting Excellence in La Grande, Oregon. Barb is the mother of
two daughters.
Lyndall Shick, MA, has worked with the Temperament Program since 19
95. With a background in psychotherapy, learning disabilities and adult education, she
became the writer who worked with the Temperament Specialists to create the Temperament
Talk curriculum. She has written the Parenting Press temperament title featured in
Coming Attractions! Lyndall is a step-mother and grandmother. |
