Giving a Gift
Here are three ways to donate financially to CHD: You may give to CHD's Oregon Community Foundation fund or give directly to CHD. Please call 541-962-8870 with any questions.
Oregon Community Foundation Fund
CHD has a fund within in the Oregon Community Foundation that is used to support CHD's mission of "Working for Healthy Communities." Gifts donated to this fund are used for strategic initiatives, as opposed to being used to help offset the cost of providing services on a daily basis. Examples of strategic initiatives include:
Stability through self-sustaining financial resources.
Enabling CHD to provide services most needed in the community in a creative manner by minimizing reliance on external funding and associated restricted uses.
Acquisition of material capital items that enhance CHD's ability to provide efficient services with best-of-class outcomes.

When you donate directly to CHD, the funds are used to help CHD offset the cost of providing services on a daily basis.

CHD Client Critical Need Fund (CCNF)
Established in 2003 because of significant reductions in Oregon Health Plan funding. Contributions to this fund directly support and maintain the mental and physical well-being of CHD’s most at-risk clients when all other sources of funding have been exhausted.
