CHD is a private, not-for-profit health organization located in La Grande, Oregon, that provides alcohol and drug, environmental health, mental health, public health, developmental disabilities, prevention, and veterans services to the residents of Union County in Eastern Oregon.

Our staff consists of nurses, doctors, social workers, counselors, therapists, and other professionals dedicated to your health and well-being.

Who Can use CHD Services?
People of all ages can use our services. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender presentation, sexual orientation, color, religion, creed, national origin, age (except when program eligibility is restricted to children, adults, or older adults), familial status, marital status, source of income, or disability. Appointments and Hours
Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Most services require an appointment by calling 541-962-8800; however, crisis intervention is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by calling 541-962-8800, option 6.

What does it cost?
In order to receive government funding, CHD is required by state and county policies to charge for services it provides to the public; however, no one will be denied clinical services because of an inability to pay. Discounts are available based on family size and income. For more information, please ask the reception staff or call 541-962-8800 or dial 711 (Oregon Telecommunications Relay Service).
