Sign up for FREE QPR Training. QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.

Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Research shows that a great majority of those who attempt suicide give warning signs, verbal or behavioral of their intent. By recognizing the persons call for help and offering hope through persuasion toward positive action, suicide can be prevented.

A training is scheduled for November 15th and 29th from 4PM to 6PM. It will take place virtually, and there is a limit to 10 per group. Call 541-962-8805 if you have questions.
