Jail Diversion

Description
The Jail Diversion program helps people with serious mental illnesses who are involved in the criminal justice system.  These individuals are redirected away from traditional criminal justice pathways to the mental health and substance abuse treatment system.  Treatment can occur inside the person's home, jail, or within the community.  It can include mental health therapy, substance abuse counseling, nursing, case management, peer support, and psychiatry.
